In this class, students will explore and experiment with the building blocks of long form: scene work, how to transition from scene to scene and improvising together as a group.
NOTE: Students must have studied improvisational scenework to be admitted to this class.

Dan Sipp began improvising in 1988 with Transactors Improv Company and has taught improvisation for 15 years. In 1998 he moved to Chicago where he studied, performed and directed for eight years. He is a graduate of The Annoyance and The iO (formerly Improv Olympic) training centers and has studied with such improv luminaries as Paul Sills, Del Close, Martin de Maat, Mick Napier, Joe Bill and The Second City. He ran the Worx Training Center in Raleigh for four years and now teaches at Raleigh Little Theater and throughout the Triangle. His improv company, Third Date, performs throughout the year at Common Ground Theatre in Durham.
