Founded by Marta King and J Chachula, Flying Machine produced actively in the Triangle from 1999 through 2006. Their debut production was The Rainmaker (1999). They went on to produce Private Eyes (2000), The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket (2000), Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight (2001), Three Days of Rain (2001), The Memory of Water (2002), Underneath the Lintel (2003), All My Sons (2004), Red Herring (2005), Dinner with Friends (2005), Collected Stories (2006), and Lonely Planet (2006). Their last production was The Shadowbox (2006).
